Helper

When I walked in the midst of doubts,

And got no string of love,

I realized I had a friend

And he was with me through it all.

When I walked through forests full of wild animals,

I realized I had one counselor

And he never asked for payment.

When I waded through mighty oceans,

I realized I had one ship,

That never waved despite the waves

And he never blamed me

When I climbed high mountains,

I realized I had one anchor,

That pinned me to a spot so that I won't fall 

And he never complained.

When I walked through fires,

I realized I had an extinguisher

That never finished

And he never grumbled.

Through various tempest and storms,

I've come to realize that I have one Friend, Father, Anchor, and Helper.

And he's JESUS.
