Heart (Betrayal)

Heart (Betrayal)

You stabbed my heart

And blood didn’t ooze,

Only there was massacre

Of emotions.

The wound was so severe

That nothing could

Become panacea.

What I was telling ambrosia,

Has become poison,

Targeting each moment to destroy me.

Yes, in this mortal world,

There is no value of emotions,

There is no value of true love,

Only falsehood exists,

Only betrayal rules.

How will I stitch my heart?

That you have broken?

How will I bolster my mind?

That you have shattered

With your betrayal?

My innocuous heart

Couldn’t know your trick,

My eyes couldn’t read

The vernacular of your ill intention.

You hoodwinked me

In every possible way

And I couldn’t even guess

That I must face the hara-kiri.
