HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEETIKA MAM!

Today is your birthday, 

So I will surely bake a cake,

Mix and stir... stir and mix,

Then put in the oven to bake.

I hope the cake is nice and round,

I'll put icing that's so white,

I'll finally put those candles,

To make your birthday bright.

Then I'll rush to get a gift,

From a shop that is so near,

How about chocolates, flowers or precious gems? 

That are crystal clear.

I wish I could gift you diamonds,

Rubies, silver and gold,

Pearls, emerald and sapphire,

Much more than your hands could hold.

But I have no riches to offer,

Just prayers to God above,

To keep you safe and happy, 

And a poem, written with love!
