Happiness
Happiness
She walked barefoot on the ground
She could feel the prick of stones
And the comfort of tender grass and soft soil
Her skirt caressed the earth
She didn't feel the pain anymore
She sat on the pavement and
Looked up above, and saw the overwhelming sky
Her heart filled
It brimmed
She felt peace running through her veins
She breathed
Inhaling all she could
Yet she knew it was momentary
Another memory
But she lived every bit of it
Feeling surreal
Happiness, she called it.
