Happiness

Everybody, everywhere seeks happiness,

That’s so true,

But finding and keeping it

Is a difficult task to do.

Difficult because we think

That happiness is found

Only in the places where

There is wealth and fame abound.

So we all go in search of treasure

At places, we think we’d find pleasure

Unaware that happiness is just a stake of mind

That comes to those who are kind

Keeping their self-respect in mind

To thee in that happiness

You’ll find happiness too

For the happiness you give away
