Gurgaon - The Millennium City
Gurgaon - The Millennium City
Acres of land lay far and wide
Numerous towers stand side by side
Screeching metals and mighty cranes
And people buzzing within a metal frame
Sector to sector the road runs on
Buildings keep rising as builders move on
The urban culture has captivated all
The farmers and farmlands have taken its toll
Trees have been fallen, fields have been filled
And from a rustic village, a city is built
Neither the heat wave nor the rising sea
Nothing would stop us mankind you'd agree
And raving about their new found home
Having spent crores on mortar and stones
Those that dwell in these pristine high floors
Seem on top of the world behind closed doors.
Nature in its frenzy, storming dust every day
So fierce like it wants to whip humans away
The sun while it sets goes fiery and red
As if it's longing to blaze us I dread...
