Nothing lasts forever,

Forever is a lie.

All we have is what's in between,

Hello and goodbye.

It's not the goodbyes that hurt,

But the flashbacks that follow.

Sad goodbyes at the wrong time will leave,

Make sure it's a see-you-soon,

Goodbyes are not forever,
