Forever Happiness

Happiness,

I craved for it every instant,

But it seemed to me so distant.

It's when I fell in love,

Anticipating to fly like a dove.

Dreaming of him every night and day,

Desiring for a single hope ray.

When he'll say a yes,

And I'll opine myself as bless.

My folk forewarned me,

Love never happens the same to everyone,

But I was so overwhelmed,

Beside him, I could see no-one.

With each passing day,

His love captivated me.

Happiness was now no more

Just a fantasy.

Just when one day he vamoosed

Denouncing my feelings unfounded.
