Words Can Be Misleading Too...
Words Can Be Misleading Too...
This poem deals with
How the dying art of "in-person conversations" has affected our lives. Now, we text and post more , we talk less. Our words can't always express our emotions correctly...
Words can be misleading too
One word contains many
interpretations,
Now, we read more, we see letters
filling the pages...or screens,
We have forgotten what it feels to hear
Is that the reason, for
We don't feel anymore....
The tone and tenor o
f the dialogue
The ups and downs of sound
The modulations of voices
Showing our emotions
Of anger, love, disgust or fear
All seem flat, all seem same
On the screens.
Is that the reason, for
We don't feel anymore....
What we feel, we convey
Through words or emoticons
The other one only reads
Or sees them
Not feels the same.
'Cause words can be misleading too
Yes, I feel it always, for
Nobody feels my words anymore.
