Footprints In The Snow

A parent takes their child by the hand, and shows them the path so they understand, that just because this is where their feet go, and leave there mark within the snow, the choice of where their path will lead is based upon the boundaries freed, to make their own decisions to, all they wish their child to do. 

 

To take a path that is already walked, is to have all the words already talked, to follow prints already made, follows the crowd like a parade, take them to where your last step will be, so they can learn and really see, that life is meant for them to live and following footsteps is no way to give, respect and love to a parent’s wish.

 

We all love in different ways, so allow them all to earn your praise, by showing you all the great work you’ve done, and hold that hand for life and be proud of them. Allow them all to make mistakes, bad decisions and the roads they take, live their life as full as they can, so they live their life new again, and not repeat one that has already been done, start a path of their own made for one, that they can share when the time is right, as they ease you into your final night. 

A parent's job is to ease their child in life and the child is intended to ease the parent into death.
