Fear surrounds me, follows behind me like a grim shadow
Everywhere I look, stares face me, judging my imperfections
Meaningless fights I fought and many battles I lost
It was all pointless; at least that’s what they said
Normality is all I desired. To be treated like a human at least,
Insults and stereotypes pointing at my differences, to simply disappear
Stupid, weak and worthless they all say, but I disagree
Me and all women, stand strong, fighting for our rights as a human
Happy Women’s Day
