Eulogy - Honor Killing

As you go today on your final journey, 

My world around one of chaos and disharmony! 

I find it so difficult to let you go, 

You were my heart, my life you know! 

With our fingers and our lives entwined, 

Your one touch my body now pined! 

They were against us, said our love was blind, 

Yet on the papers, we went ahead and signed! 

Today they together managed to pull us apart, 

Religion, caste, a debate will now start! 

Wait for me my darling, on the other side, 

I will join you soon to begin the joyful ride!
