Eternal Wait

Eternal Wait

1 min
152

I wait every day

At the place

We had agreed to meet.

Around the time

That we had decided,

I stop for a moment.

Pounding heart

Sparkling eyes

Scan through the parking

In case you have

Come to meet.

To my joy

You never turned up,

I wait for another

An exciting day to end.

Now I wish

You never come,

As I have started

To love the feeling

Of hoping to be found

Yet lost with no promises.

The waits are odds

That I charge my self

To keep my head held high

Beyond any pity.

Hope has a new place

In most sublime of thoughts,

Now it's named

As Eternal Wait!
