Eternal Love
Eternal Love
In the world where cynicism rules
Two hearts swirl in the land of eyes
They skip a beat when their head gloom
And yet they stay quiet.
Is it the feeling when she sees him
Or is it when their heart skips a beat
Is it true or is it a dream
Their head knows it all, their heart's still keen.
Is it possession, Or infatuation?
Or is it in the mere existence of their being
For this admired feeling, sometimes fly
As it is only felt but never seen.
Very few of them, these days know
What love really ought to be
Some people cry; the others lie
They felt life isn't worth the scene
For they both thought, this world is wide
It's not like it seems
For in lovers, the real ones stay quiet
Whereas the fake ones scream.
So they part their ways, without a word
And hope it'll be eternal love
Till then, they'll imagine each other's smiles
And hope that someday again, they'll catch their eyes.
