Dreams to die for
Dreams to die for
The heart wants what it wants;
A world full of opportunities
To fulfil the dream that's a burning fire,
Consuming every inch of the body
In a furling flame of desire.
The aspiration is on the peak
And so is the enthusiasm,
The dream of an imagined life,
A long due happiness,
That the heart wants to fathom.
It's the reverie that has kept alive
The flame of life's lamp,
It's worth dying for,
As my dreams are capable to revamp
The broken lighthouse of hopes on destiny's shore.
It's incognisable how a dream can be so mighty,
That it starts dictating life's purpose,
Becomes the king of mind and heart,
And then we say,
The heart wants what it wants!
