Dreams in a jar

The day is filled with an orange sky

Hoping to be starred by the lights of the fireflies 

Those are waiting to be released 

The glow of the sky increased

My dreams are kept in a jar 

hidden somewhere afar

Hoping to be released like a firefly 

that glows just to star the sky 

My dreams are kept locked

To stay inside, are they balked?

They want to run wild and free

They are a true miracle, you see

The fireflies starred the night

It was a wondrous sight

I wish it could be real

It brings me much more zeal

My dreams just got flying

Behind them, am I chasing?

I'll travel away from here, to a place far

to catch my dreams, which are like stars
