Yes I felt doldrum

My pen stopped

My hands got numb

Yes! It was doldrum!


My mind started to ache

I could no longer sit with my pens and books

The mere thought of notebook made my mind swirl

Yes, I felt doldrum!


I could no longer bear ideas in my mind

Breathe in, breathe out, relax!

I tried to placate myself

It's just a period, it will be gone

Yes, I felt doldrum!
