Do I Need To Grow Up

Slowly slowly I am growing up soon will be an adult, 

Everyone wants me to be responsible and act mature.

Even my mom wants me to take charge of my fault, 

Suddenly this pressure of talking decisions is making me insecure. 

Now my parents won't guide me now I have to decide what's right, 

I will be trusted to survive in this messy world and learn to be practical. 

Now I will be judged at each step and will have to keep up the fight,

I have to leave my fantasy world for a place where everything is a gamble. 

I know this dilemma is faced by a lot of people who grow, 

But I don't want to leave the innocence and be lost in this cruelty. 

Had there been a way that this time becomes slow, 

If I could enjoy some more of my fantasy world's royalty.
