Dear Seer!
Dear Seer!
The galaxy has buried its head in the apparel
Of the night! Our door remains open for everyone
We never close the door for anyone, rich or poor!
When people wanted to see me crying, I laughed!
You who do not speak my language, how can you know
The greatness and depth of my poetry, I am a born poet!
You people who do not know Urdu, how can you ever
Understand it! Translated verses lose their true beauty!
Everything is beautiful in its essence, not imitation
It is difficult to reach and bathe in the soul of the tongue!
Disappointed I don't present my verses to anyone
My beautiful poetry makes the common sense jealous!
So I suppress my words in the graves of books.
Or keep my precious books buried in my heart!
God is better than what they claim. We need to get better!
Am I a near-miss or am I you? Are you mine or lost me!
Continuous reading or screen time wears and tears
My mother was worried, to save my smiley eyes!
Those who dance in the name of worship don't know love
How love dances the intellect. Makes one a monk!
