Creepers

Creepers

These tangled climbers, reach the skies if possible,

Dhan, daulat, oonch, neech, caste, and race(white, black, brown),

Where is the heat, which once waged through years,

Now darkened like that sun behind the grey ghost of darkling winter,

Like the once proud eagle, now sitting alone on a chilly mountain tops,

Aged and going down,

Sadness writ large, asking loud silent question,

Why was I thus once, could have been, should have been, humane,

Never wrong for a good meal, a good laugh,

Not forgetting the weakening eye of the hastening day,

You never desire to be haunted by own sins, do you,

 Seek the warmth of humanity,

Let go of cumbersome, burdens.
