Corona Virus

The disaster started in Wuhan,

Started demolishing people then on,

Spreading from country to country,

It made them block all the entry.

With coughing, throat pain and sneezing,

The human count kept decreasing.

Preventing people from doing their task,

It just made them wear a mask.

The streets and roads were emptied;

It collapsed the whole world indeed.

When scientists found it studying strange,

It had already spread to a wider range.

Just like the game of cat and mouse,

It didn’t allow anyone out of their house.

With people of all ages locked in home felt sick,

The king virus bagged itself with a lot of trick.

With a virus being worse than cancer,

Government of all nations didn’t have an answer.

With active cases count hitting the peak,

This deadly virus proved to be an unjudgeable freak.

With people affected suffering in quarantine,

Distancing became must even with your valentine.

People who took this easy in their imagination,

Ended up weak and hopeless in isolation.

With the world praying for a vaccine to be invented,

We are all in the initial stage to be prevented.

When millions suffer due to poverty,

We as humans should maintain equality.

Predictions about the future may be true or false,

But I believe that ‘this too shall pass.’
