Conquering The World
Conquering The World
They work later than usual today
In hopes of making their mark upon the world
They'll compromise their sleep
Wishing for their career to take a leap.
There's an hourglass to measure time.
A plant to feel close to nature.
The very first proof of a spoken syllable
These are thermite tools of life on their table.
There's plastic model earth on their table
They look at it for inspiration
In order to achieve all their scope
They conspire to conquer the globe.
What they do now pay them back in the future
Success and a name every household knows
They smile with pride not greed
An achievement that they did succeed.
And then they looked at the others with them.
Ten-year-olds they played in their childhood with
They're grown-up, mature, and navigating today.
Their parents worry earlier but now they are okay.
All of them, workers, sellers, businessmen,
Professional engineers, doctors and cops
All of them, grow, rise, shine.
Winning the globe and conquering the time.
