If Life were a Comic Strip, I wonder

What comic character would I be?

Would I play out my episodic adventures

For the entire world to see?

A Superhero, fighting dark Nemeses

Spinning webs of doom would I be?

Would I, instead, be from otherworldly realms

Saviour of Earth's Destiny?

For a jocund attitude to life, Or

A wisecracking tyke would I be?

Would I, instead, romance the world

With a Gaggle of Girls, so pretty?

Baring my life to the world, in Scenes

A Showboating Diva would I be?

Would I, instead, hold a Mirror

For the World itself to See?

The World is a Stage, the Bard said,

Actors all of us, didn't he?

Would I not, if Life were a Comic Strip

Then be just, ME?
