Color Has Something To Say

Color Has Something To Say

0h! What a cheer I made

To the world when I came

But I don’t know what happened to my children

They just don’t treat me the same

Oh! What a cheer I made

In the season of colors

With how much joy they played

Children, adults, and seniors.

Oh! What a cheer I made

In young artist faces

To tighten their lives to beauty

I was their laces

But now what I seem

Is that they misunderstood me

I treat all my children the same

But they say they are not free

I just wanted to say

I don’t bias, my given shade

Colors are all about love

You are not given them on your grade

Your smile is all I want to see

I don’t shower the fair with gold

Nor do I

Let the darker be sold

Being toxic is not my style

Please understand and stand by

Just like you for sun and moon, I gave them a different shine

But aren’t you all still mine
