Children's Day

We are our mom's lil angels,

Our daddy's baby stars,

Mischievous we are sometimes,

But this day is just ours.

We make up words like Pove,

That mean nothing at all.

But our hearts are filled with love,

Sure that is know to all.

His name was Chacha Nehru,

He used to wear a cap,

He was a great leader,

And took children in his lap.

The children were so happy,

You could see their smiles say:

They all screamed and shouted,

HAPPY CHILDREN'S DAY!
