Birds Never Return

The dreary lanes were deserted from many days.

The house was covered with algae all over

Some parts of it were on the verge of falling down.

and some were already fallen.

The carcass seemed like one of the oldest haunted houses.

The gate creeked as it opens and closes due to wind.

And I could clearly see an old lady with helpless eyes

And shaky hands holding a stick as long as her stature.

She always goes and comes through that gate with her slow step.

A determined lady who works on her principal and still works

'Cause she cannot eat what she has not earned.

She was that women who declined to leave her house

'Cause someone pitied over her condition.

She was that powerful women who raised three children

Without husband and have send them to America.

Well, she doesn't knew that birds fly after they have been reared and never return back.

Not even to see if the cause of their origin is dead or alive.
