Between the Silence
Between the Silence
In the hush between two heartbeats,
I heard the world inhale—
A quiet tide of waiting wind,
A soft, unbroken veil.
Shadows traced the edge of morning,
Gold unraveled night,
I stitched my thoughts with threads of dawn
And set them into flight.
The roads are paved with questions still,
Each stone, a secret name;
But walking makes the echoes sing—
And fire forgets its flame.
If tomorrow asks me where I’ve been,
I’ll answer with my eyes:
I’ve lived between the silence
Where the truth of wonder lies.
