Betrayal

Betrayal

Sad grey eyes;

A sobbing voice;

A fragile heart;

And a slumping gaze

How can you betray a broken fawn?

You said it was your mistake,

But on the contrary,

I felt that the mistake was mine,

For trusting you;

If you would've stabbed,

The wounds would've healed.

But you broke my heart,

And the shards of it would remain crushed forever.

I wondered that you were a friend;

I should've known that you'll become an enemy in the end.

I left the people who really mattered;

I got distracted from the greatness my life served,

Just for you;

Because maybe then,

I thought you were a friend,

But you were just a beginning to an end.
