Being Alone

Every time I close my eyes

I can see snippets of my life

Dark and hazy

Yet so scary

Trying to approach me

Preventing me from flee

I can hear them scream

This can't be my dream

Giving me goosebumps

A slight stroke in my lungs

How are they coming close?

I just did shut the doors

I can sense their touch

With hands so rough

These footsteps stink

Stay aback few inch

I can hear them whisper

But, words are not clear

These scary eyes that stare

Can you please spare..

Frightened, I open my eyes

But, there's no one here..

My senses reveal,

"I am home alone, in fear".
