One day you will rise like a wave

And fall, calm like a lake

But the sunset will fade

Into the sunrise we praise

In front of an ocean, we lay

Mesmerized by our lives’ past days

When my water meets your sand

Let our mistakes wash away

Because there will be stars you won’t reach

Skies you can’t breach

On a cloud, you will float

To help flowers grow from seeds

Touching places you could never be

Proving the oasis that we see

And with its withered arms
