A Waste Of Who You Are…

Every time I fly towards the sky and fall

Whenever I’m in doubt of making the right call

Every time I make fool of myself

Whenever I gasp for another breathe

Every time I look at my perfect peers

With a smile when I suppress my tears

Every time I let myself down

If by someone else’s accomplishments I am astound

I just look with pride at my failures, my scars

And murmur “Wanting to be someone else is a waste of who you are…”
