A Tale Of Kindness

A Tale Of Kindness

183

She was an orphan,

With a heart so kind,

Needy yet helpful,

With a small family, she found peace of heart.

One day, while passing by,

She saw an old man cold and frail,

She wrapped him in a shawl,

And he blessed her with a tale.

A young man visited his aunt’s home,

From the backyard, his eyes wondered.

He saw the girl by the roadside fair,

Her kindness shone, so rare.

She lived in a house so small,

Yet in her heart, she had it all.

To support her family, she worked each day,

A receptionist, earning her way.

During her break, she sipped her tea,

Dark clouds gathered, wild and free.

She carried her umbrella tight,

As the sky turned dark from bright.

The young man walked, his keys fell down,

As he bent, the rain poured down.

She hurried close, held her shade,

"Are you fine?"— calmly, her voice asked.

He looked at her, a face so known,

The girl who once had kindness shown.

Their friendship bloomed, gentle and true,

Through storms and sunshine, they both grew.

She feared their worlds were far apart,

For wealth and status weighed on her heart.

But he sought neither gold nor name,

Only her heart, forever the same.

She, once alone, now had a friend,

A bond so pure, it would never end.

Through love and fate, her life did change,

A tale of kindness, so beautifully arranged.
