A Tale In The Isle..!

I started off in my solitary isle,

With a dream to go the extra mile,

I set my goal on the ray,

Of light which illuminated my way,

Firm foot steps stood by my side,

Led by them - I walked with pride,

Those were prints of hope,

Steering to climb the rope,

Little did I realize the light fading,

And the fear of dispirit invading,

The light is gone,

Leaving me in worn,

I still stand there seeking a glimpse,

Indeed it's the glint of my true being....!
