A Strong Bond

A Strong Bond

6.7K

She was getting dressed

Her eyes revealing the smooth mascara

He was looking at her

With an innocent stare

He smiled, tamed and unwild

Gazing at her olive skinned face

His dark brown eyes looking for her

Asking her to stay, be with him forever

She smiled, ruffled his caramel brown hair

Said lovingly, "I would come soon,

Miss you my love."

Her voice was soothing and melodious

To his own ears, it was comforting to hear

He didn't contemplate what she said

He kept following her wagging the tail,

Petrified to loose her once again,

His eyes were moist, full of tears

His heavy breath symbolizing as sadness,

"I wish you stay by my side,

I hate this loneliness."

He wished he could say that out loud,

But he just kept whimpering

Witnessing her he begged her to stay with him.

She kissed a goodbye on his beautiful cheeks

She left the home foresaking him into the light

"What if you never come back!"

Said he, as she saw her vanishing shadow

into the steps

"Fate is cruel, fate is unkind"

He kept saying stepping inside his house

He felt helpless, sad and dejected

He peeked at her through the windows

Thinking she would stare back at her.

Surprised, thinking he had been deceived,

He placed his head on marble floor,

Showing his discontent, unwilling to show himself

He rolled himself into the back-door

The time passes by

The image of the sweet girl didn't fade,

His fears taking a wrong turn, he refused

He refused to play saying,

"She left me without saying a goodbye!"

His eyes were moist, his voice hoarse

With the cry that seemed like a bark

He sleeped, he dreamt of the girl

whom he waited for long

He was awoken

Until he heard the bell rang

He jumped, hopped and barked

Smelling her sweet fragrance

Knowing she was onto the door

She smiled, her eyes said,

"Let me come in, love.

I told you I would soon arrive."

The dog smiled, cared and loved

His teeth flashing a great intent

"Fate is kind

Fate is sympathetic"

She said, "I miss you more

Kissing his delicate cheeks,

He could only smile saying

I miss you too,

Taking his paws into her hand

She kissed his delicate paws,

Denoting the strong bond,

The friendship that was beyond
