A Storm Is Coming
A Storm Is Coming
"Hey, look a storm is coming!"
My sister screamed with excitement
I let the sudden gust of wind blow my hair
Away from my face so pale.
Cold, cold wind, still warmer
Than what a few people have been to me.
I look wide out of the window
I let specks of dust into my eyes,
I've let worse into my head.
The roaring winds outside
Sympathize with the stillness within,
The thunder growls to break
This deafening silence in vain.
Just like every dull numb day
Brings a tempest in a while,
Hear, hear I say,
A storm within is coming in style.
