A Lonely Traveller
A Lonely Traveller
Aren’t you just a lonely traveller finding your way,
Toiling hard throughout every single day,
The poor lonely souls, each with a unique destination,
Making way through this chaotic creation,
A path full of ruthless rocks, beware not to stumble,
Such a marvellous mess to crush and crumble.
The journey gets crazier as it gets older,
You start looking for a hand, you start looking for a shoulder,
If you are fortunate enough, you 'll come across many,
But don’t just get too attached to any.
Some may transiently make your world a better place,
But most of them will simply multiply the menace,
In the end, they will all be gone,
At the core of this mess, you will be all alone,
After all, you are just a lonely traveller finding your way,
Finding joy amongst all the dismay.
