A Lesson in My Garden
A Lesson in My Garden
I have seen many a change,
Gone to lands known and strange,
Everything has come in my way,
Love, hatred, hope and dismay.
But ages ago, I did decide,
Fate shall always test, always grind.
I let it have its way,
But, choose firmly to stay.
Come hail, come rain,
Come pleasure, come pain,
I bear all. I never run.
Instead, I wait for the Sun.
Readers, believe me when I say,
Life in me shall always stay.
