A flame of hope

The urge to shout out loud

About the pain 

Which is killing me from inside 

All-day, all-night

To scream, and to tell everyone out

About the struggle on maintaining the state of calm,

and these fake smiles

Tis harder than the hardest battles 

Encountering the perks and events

of losing people, and dealing with the dilemma

of pertaining a distance

Tis in itself a war having no end, no ceasefire

Lost is acceptable at all costs

But wiping out and erasing the boundaries of respect is not a good shot

Time, for now, might sound harsh, and squeak dull

But maybe every passing second has something to offer

till the last breath and the final destination

Maybe this war zone is a journey towards a life

filled with glory and many beautiful turns

Because those with the heart of gold and diamond, 

and the ones having faith,

and who are closer to God

will never fail in life

In fact, every failure they face turns into a beautiful outcome

So this is indeed a war for me,

and many among us

to maintain patience and moral

But remember with God in life, 

and having hope alive

This too shall pass

and we all shall survive
