Falling in love

Isn't as scary as it seems

It's elating and beautiful

It feels like moonlight beams

Falling in love is like

Falling on a cloud

It's silent and comfortable

When the world's too loud

But after all, these clouds

Are nothing but water 

It won't hold you up

You might stumble and falter

You will build a home

With these walls of snow

But the mist might give way

To down below, you'll never know

So you stay in fear

In your cosy little dwelling

From below your shadow screams

But you don't hear it yelling

Because you're busy dancing

On golden sun rays

And you never want to leave

Your ethereal palace

Ignore all you want

But crash to the ground you will

For gravity never lost

And time shan't stay still

So, you see falling in love

Isn't rainbows and cupcakes

Sometimes it gives

And in exchange it takes

Falling in love 

Is called falling for a reason

For the mist is bound to swirl down

In the rainy season

But by now you should know

A cloudy sky can't stop me

We'll break through the hail and snow
