A Bus Stop- A Love Tale

A Bus Stop- A Love Tale

2 mins

 It was a rainy day

I was standing at a bus stop,

Waiting for my bus.

It’s raining heavily

I thought I would be stuck.

I was pretty sure

I would get late for my work.

The thought of being late

Had made me damn upset.

In that curtain of rain

I saw her running to me.

Oops!! I misunderstood

It's not me,

She was looking for a shelter to be in.

She stood just ahead of me,

I was lost in her fragrance

Which was making me crazy.

She put her locks behind her ears

Disturbing her charming face.

She turned back and gave a serene smile,

Which my mind could never erase.

My face reddened with her dazzling smile

And I was stunned for a while.

I never believed in love at first sight

But that rainy day it happened to me,

And I really felt delighted.

Mistakenly her hands touched mine.

I had goosebumps on me.

I was lost in her exquisite beauty

Without realizing that the bus arrived.

A huge crowd was trying to get in

Struggling to get a seat.

I struggled to make a way for her

So she could get on the bus fast

And could find a seat.

On the bus, she manages

To get a seat for her.

She looked at me

And we exchanged a smile.

I stood beside her

Wishing she would stay longer

And not for a while.

But never he heard my wish before

And on that day too he didn’t.

I was about to start the conversation

But she got off the bus.

I glanced at her, hoping

She would look at me.

But she vanished in a crowd

And I was feeling heavy.

I sat on a seat

Where she used to be.

The bus was filled with people

But for me it’s empty.

I still felt her warmness

While sitting there.

I could even smell her fragrance

Which was still in the air.

Hoping to meet her next day

I scheduled everything accordingly.

At the bus stop, I waited for her

Rehearsing to take an initiative.

My eyes were searching her everywhere

But it was useless as she didn’t arrive there.

The bus came but I didn’t step in

In a hope that she would come for me.

The bus started moving

I ran and stepped in.

Still looking outside

Searching for her.

But since that day

I had never seen her again.

I have searched her

Everywhere but I failed.

Even on Facebook and Instagram

I tried to search her

But I don’t even know her name.

She is just in my mind and in my memories.

A question always arrived in me

Where can I find her? Where can she be?

Still today I am going

At the same bus stop

At the same time every day.

In hope that

I will meet her one day.

Whenever I will meet her again

I will not waste time

I will say her,

“I love you deeply, madly and truly.”
