Read more I am a freelance journalist, author, visiting professor of English and Sanskrit literature at Jain University, teacher of Carnatic classical music and the instrument Veena, radio artist, voice over artist and script writer. Besides I paint using a lot of mediums and also am into traditional crafts and recycled arts and crafts. My hobbies are reading, knitting, gardening and reflecting on the philosophy of everyday life. My deep interest in our tradition and culture has helped me develop and conduct several workshops for young adults and children to think of topical issues like globalization, global warming, culture and education from an Indian context. I give programmes in AIR in several areas, I record programmes for Radio Active a community radio. I am a voice over artist in Kannada and Tamil for Sri Shankara Channel besides I also write scripts and translate for TV programmes and documentary films randomly. My hobbies include painting, knitting, reading, gardening and coaching students to clear GRE, GMAT and similar exams successfully. Read lessShare with friends
