Those Days.....

Those were the days I still remember.... 

The bond of our friendship was a special one. Priyanshi di and I. Though there was a great difference in our age, about 8 years but our relationship was just like two kids of the same age.

From my first day of school until the year 2015, she used to take care of me like a sister. And what was the actual relationship between us? Just of family friends. The way she used to talk with me, her smile and her consoling took away all my pain, my fear. Our chit - chats, our laughing on various jokes, her playing with my hair, holding my hand while crossing the road, making me sit on her lap. She, she was someone special. Those days were like heaven for me. 

But, those happy days didn't last long. The year 2015 and her entering class 12. The year ending and her leaving the school. It appeared to be mysterious, a ghostly experience. Now there was no one to talk with me, nor anyone to walk with me. My life was filled with loneliness, with sadness. Though I had many friends at school, the emptiness that filled my heart because of her leaving couldn't be fulfilled. Each and every day I used to look at her house waiting for her to come down and meet me. But she never came.

Since then, four years have passed by, but there is still no sign of her. How I longed to meet her and play with her as we used to do! Though, now I don't think I'll ever meet her. Four years is a long time. But still there is still a hope left in my heart; she'll surely come to meet me. Perhaps, one day, while coming back from school, she'll come out of her house, hug me and hold my hand, just like those old days.

Just like those old and happy days...
