Acacia Whitaker is beautiful, smart, and lively.

She is everything guys want, but her heart belongs to only one guy.

Acacia hopelessly crushes on Richie Anderson, who is oblivious to her feelings for him.

Enter Clay Reeves, and Acacia's world is turned upside down. Clay offers Acacia a deal to help her win over Richie, in turn asking her to help him win over his crush. Will the deal offered by Clay result into a furious storm, or will Acacia's life change for the better?

I entered the school, with my heels clicking on. Many heads turned towards me. The ones busy chatting stopped, and waved at me, greeting me with 'Hi Acacia' and 'Hey'. I smiled at them and greeted back.I searched around the corridor, and my eyes landed on a pretty, blonde girl.

"Kathleen!Hey!"I shouted to my best friend.

Immediately, her head whisked around, from whoever she was talking to, and her lips curled into a smile.

"Hey Acacia!"She called out and ended the conversation with the guy she was talking to.

I made my way over to her.We busied ourselves in chatting about last night's events.

Kathleen suddenly changed her gaze to look at something over my shoulder, when I heard a wonderful voice from behind me.

"Yeah, I do have practice today.I'll meet you in class"The wonderful voice came from an even dashing owner, Richie Anderson.

Richie Anderson was tall, light-haired, and handsome. Most of the girls crushed on him.

When I could feel him right behind me, Kathleen spoke, "Hey Richie".

I had this teeny-tiny crush on Richie, which even Kathleen didn't know about.

"Hi Kathleen, Hey Acacia!"Richie greeted and continued to walk to class, walking by dangerously close to me.

It was lunchtime, and I was sitting at a table with the rest of my friends.

Richie was there too.It was like the table where the popular people sat, but we never differentiated between the others and us.

Then the voices of the lunch hall quieted down.A lot of students turned towards the front of the lunch hall. There, in all his glory, stood Clay Reeves.

He had transferred to the school just a few weeks ago but was already well-known.

His intelligence, athleticism and good looks had caught the eye of many girls.

He got his food and sat with us at the table.

He ate his lunch and talked to a few students.

I chatted with Kathleen, Lillian, and Tiffany.

In the middle of our conversation, my eyes wandered over to Richie.

He looked nice today, just like he did everyday.

He was busy laughing at a joke told by Kyle, his best buddy.

His laugh was strikingly pleasant.

I turned my head away from him and continued listening to Tiffany rant about the amount of homework the teachers gave, but not before I saw Clay Reeves staring at me with a positively devilish smile.

The tiring school day had finally come to an end.Students were gladly rushing out of school to return to the vicinity of their homes.

I was putting some of my books in my locker.Kathleen was running late, and so I was waiting for her.

The hallways were quite empty, except for a few teachers, and students lurking around.

I slid down and sat with my back against the lockers.

I extended my feet and crossed one foot over the other.

I took out a book I had issued from the library and started reading it.

Soon, I was captivated by the striking words and the main character's world.

"Acacia"A voice called out.I was too engrossed in the book.

"Acacia"The voice called out again, this time sounding more demanding.

I looked up to see the source of the voice, Clay Reeves.

"Well, well, what brings the new star of the school, to me?"I asked.

Clay extended his arm to help me get up, but I stood up on my own.

He then said, "I'm Clay.Clay Reeves."

"Acacia Whitaker"I replied.

I turned to walk away, but then Clay spoke out firmly, "I'm here to make you a Deal."

I halted;and slowly turned around, confused.

"A Deal?"I asked.

"A Deal."He replied with a smirk.
