Why I Write
Why I Write
I write because I feel,
I write because It heals,
The little black letters,
They listen to what I say,
They do not judge me
And they never ever betray.
When I speak it may just
Be a constant blabber,
To someone who is not
Interested at all to hear.
But when I write,
I do not have that fear.
My audience has a choice
To engage or to ignore,
Not to continue further
To adore or to abhor.
When I write,
The chained thoughts
Are carefully set free;
Like the spoken words,
They are never in a hurry.
When I write,
My darkest thoughts
Go weak and surrender.
My voice will be nowhere,
When I am not there;
But my words on paper,
Is what people may remember.
