A Fabric I Fell For

I'll give you a lil rhyme of the season!

Soo let's begin,

Well I guess it's more fun when you're writing without purpose,

And I guess it ain't done if you're not working in a circus,

Sis, I want to let you know,

This is isn't some show...

It's a petty work of words put into some verses,

So that you're entertained— nonetheless, you're pretty sane!

Hey! Didn't you catch on to my game?

It's a distraction from one and the same :

The fact that I can't disclose the real poetry,

I'm here making rhymes and pretending it's solitary...

OOO SIS.

So what's up with that fabric that my cover and title speak of?

Well you see, it's just a clothing, more things you don't to know not.

But have you ever thought?

What do these writers do when it's all done and gloom?

Well, guess what....

They write.

Until the night is gone,

Until it's really bright,

Until dawn is back,

And yes,

A true writer can turn around a fun rhyme into a softly whispered end so much so that even the cool breeze might shiver at the sound of it.
