Silence

The eeriness of the ambiance made her adrenaline rush through her nerves...

The brightness of the sunshine never reached those dungeons....

The girl with a rainbow in her eyes sat near the furnace baking bangles .....

There were a dozen more children of her age ...

But all were wrapped in the silence of the day time....

There was no helter-skelter of boys playing around...

No giggling of girls around the corner....

All these noises were eaten by the silence...

The silence of work has dried away all the happy noises...

The children could now only dream of having good times...

Where every child will get to pursue their dream...

Each child will breathe in the open air and sunshine...

But alas!! The dreaded silence has taken it all away...

The price of their happiness which they have to pay is silence...
