Holika, also called "The Holi",

Comes once a year as an incredible festival.

Covering her face in colourful veil,

Lavish,bold,pretty and purple.

As if the rainbow sprinkles it's smile,

A brilliant dancer in a mood too mild.

The canvas of our life to be painted,

With beauty and Dorothy silver,we granted.

Spring dances and smiles in joy,

Looking incredible as a lively toy.

Blissful blue,auspicious red,

Sun kissed gold, an evergreen bed.

She bestows us with divine dream,

All evils and demand become framed.

We do welcome her with bunches of flowers,

Forgetting all enmities for each other.
