Cold, the touch, of fresh mild dew,

Fresh, the morning air, sets your soul anew...

Sun peeping slowly towards a long bright day,

Birds flying out for food, up and away...

A thousand thoughts rushing in, as you wake up,

The dawn moving fast, shaping its wings up...

Wonder what's in store for us today?

What life has pinned against us today...

Simpler we were as kids, no fret, no worry,

All we have now, stress & perpetual hurry...

Is it what we were really meant to be?

A soul so trapped, unable to set itself free...

Just deny once, a life so sad, so trodden,

Live for your dreams, not a constant burden...

Easier said than done, they always say,

But I didn't work so hard, to end up this way...

Is it too late to try? To be what I want to be?

To have a heart and mind, that's truly free...

Sit and stare away as the world moves on by,

Today I won't blend in, not let my dreams pass by...

Tonight I stay, tonight I give another try,
