Loneliness-The Missing Friends

That day I saw them walking on the street,

Felt like they had already betrayed me;

They came to me and asked, "Why aren't you talking to us?",

I said, "I am talking to you but you walked out on me."

Thought that we'll always be together,

And was sure that you'll leave me never;

But who knew that you all will be like the one,

Who leaves when their work is done.

Saw the tears in your eyes,

When you were leaving me;

And I said, "I want to be a good friend to you,

So that you can be a good friend to me".

When you became my friend,

I got to know the meaning of happiness;

But when you left me,

I felt what's called as "loneliness".
