THE DEAD POET

The universe has entered my heart,

Branching throughout my eyes.

You must let me avow;

Vouchsafe my words, has yet to be vouchsafed.

Words were arcane,

Pen won't aver.

Time it does, paper won't detain,

Draped and trapped inside forever.

The engender cause to bring up the poet;

That has been dead,

Stimulation of the lamented,

Lugubrious were the consequences.

I never proffer the juncture,

Still that morose yonder 

Endeared by a lover.
